Week 7 - Countries of the World

Good afternoon!

First, did you finish the Online WorkbookUnit 2? It's due today!

Today we will do 5 things:

  1. Speaking activity - What are you good at? What are you not good at?
  2. Talk about countries and their flags; also about nationalities
  3. Unit 3 textbook
  4. 'Be' verbs form
  5. Practice for Quiz #1 (the quiz is next week; June 1; 10 pts)

Conversation Topic
What are you good at? What are you not good at?

  • I'm good at speaking French. I'm not good at cooking.
  • I'm good at reading fast. I'm not good at cleaning my office.

Next, let's talk about some countries and cities and ask "Where are you from?"

3rd Period Form / 4th Period Form
In this form, use only 'am', 'are' or 'is'. You won't use the apostrophe this time.
